This is an urgent requirement for a Technical Project Manager with a proven track record of managing network transformation for both mobile and fixed Network Operators. The successful candidate will have experience of planning, implementation and the successful migration of complex networks. The successful candidate will have relevant educational qualifications and at least 8-10 years experience in working for a mobile operator, infrastructure vendor or consulting organisation in the field of IP Networks. As Prime technical interface, the TPM must have detailed technical knowledge of all elements within a mobile, fixed and transmission network. •Technical analysis of the project and technical validation of the customer requirements across the network •Advise the Customer on best technical solutions to meet their requirements, and where appropriate, improve the network •Responsible for the overall technical aspects of customer projects from the design, validation, proof of concept, deployment and MIGRATION phases. •Awareness of all technical content, roadmaps, and commitment within customer contract(s), including Service Level Agreement, commercial/technical liabilities etc, and be able to manage the customer accordingly in order to minimise risk. •Commercially aware, the TPM should also have the ability to identify additional sales opportunities, and/or generate options through customer management •Involvement in sales and RFQ/RFI support activities during offer and contract preparation phase •Manage the technical change management process(FR) in close contact with Quality Management and technical support organisation •Prime interface for the Operational Support organisation (TAC, Field resources) and other technical departments. •Management of technical teams during migration activities and operation of the network Qualifications and Experience. •The Technical Project Manager should have relevant educational qualifications and at least 8-10 years experience in working for a 2G/3G mobile operator, infrastructure vendor or consultant organisation in the field of IP and Mobile Networks. •Detailed technical knowledge and experience of IP technologies, along with a strong understanding of GSM/UMTS(BSS,UTRAN,CORE,NGN) network architecture. •Proven track record of Managing complex projects, including NETWORK MIGRATION activities, •Team leader, good man-management skills together with the ability to write reports and conduct technical presentations. •The TPM should have a track record in the design, implementation, NETWORK MIGRATION and management of large scale customer technical projects. •Detailed knowledge of 2G/3G RAN, Core networks, MPLS, ATM, SDH, DWDM etc..
